Can I create a schedule of recurring walks?
Absolutely! We actually recommend it. Our typical client has a set, unchanging schedule of 5 walks, Monday - Friday.
Do you require 5 walks per week?
You can book 5 walks per week or 1 walk per week. However, a minimum of 3 walks per week is ideal, as it helps to create a bond between your dog and your Milo Dog Walker.
How can I book walks?
You can schedule walks from your smartphone via our app 24/7. We'll confirm your request during office hours (M – F, 9am – 5pm).
Will I work with the same walker each visit?
Yes you will. We will see to it that you work with the same Milo Dog Walker each visit. However, situations may arise when your dedicated walker is not available.
What if my primary dog walker is unavailable?
No worries! One of our vetted, trusted pet care professionals will perform the walk in place of your Primary Walker.
How do I pay for a service?
All payments are handled automatically via your client portal. Automatic billing is processed every Monday for the previous week. We accept all major credit cards.
Will my dog be walked individually or in a group?
You can either request a Private Walk or a Companion Walk. Its totally up to you. However, the majority of our clients prefer Private Walks.
Will my dog walker arrive at a specific time each day?
Due to a variety of factors, it's not possible to promise a specific arrival time. However, we present you with a 2 hour window to ensure that your pup goes outside as close as possible to the desired time. Example: Your dog is scheduled for a 12pm walk. You can expect your Milo Dog Walker to arrive anytime between 11pm and 1pm. Having a 2 hour window helps us manage schedules incase of any unforeseeable issues (i.e., inclement weather, covering for another walker, delays with public transportation, etc.). We shorten that window to 1 hour for puppies and seniors.
Can you also feed my dog?
Sure we can! Simply provide feeding instructions in your client portal and we'll take care of it.
Can you accommodate last minute bookings?
We're here to support you. If you need a last minute walk, simply book it through the app or email us the request. Based on availability, we'll provide the walk. Again, this is solely based on staff availability. Requests made outside of office hours will receive a response early the following business day.
How does my walker gain access to my home?
We require a spare key for the walker to keep on their key ring. However, if your residence has a front desk, you may leave the keys with them. Kindly add your Primary Walker's name as well as "Walk Milo" to the list of people who can have access to the keys. You may also use a lockbox.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 24 hour notice to cancel a walk or a puppy visit. Same day cancellations will be charged the full rate of the service. Overnight Sitting cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of the scheduled service.
Does your team administer medication?
As long as the medication doesn't require veterinarian certification, we can administer it. Simply provide the medication (pills, topical creams, etc.) and we'll take it from there.
Are your dog walkers bonded & insured?
Absolutely! Every Milo team member is fully bonded and insured.
